TeachNav Terms of Use
Version 2026-05-30
1. Acceptance
By creating a TeachNav account or otherwise using TeachNav, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use TeachNav.
2. Eligibility & authorized use
TeachNav is intended for educators and authorized district personnel. You confirm that you are authorized to create an account and use TeachNav in connection with your educational role or district access.
3. AI-assisted outputs
TeachNav generates AI-assisted drafts and guidance. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your context. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating any output before using, sharing, or relying on it.
4. Student data & responsible use
Do not enter sensitive student information or other protected data into TeachNav except as permitted by your school or district policies and applicable law (including FERPA, COPPA, and state student data privacy laws). See the Student Data & Responsible Use Notice for guardrails.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse TeachNav, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or use it to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
6. Relationship to district platforms
TeachNav is designed to complement the platforms your district already uses. It is not a replacement for your learning management system (Canvas, Schoology, Google Classroom, etc.), student information system, gradebook, or other system of record. Materials you create in TeachNav are intended to be copied, downloaded, or otherwise exported into your district-approved systems for classroom use. Standards-based interoperability such as LTI 1.3 launch and OneRoster provisioning is on our roadmap and is not a currently shipped feature; we will not represent integrations we have not built.
7. Changes
TeachNav may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TeachNav after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
